Maafushi is currently the most popular residential island in the Maldives.
It is conveniently located just 30 minutes from the airport by speedboat and 2 hours by ferry.
The island has a magnificent view of the turquoise lagoon stretching into the Indian Ocean, and it has countless coral reefs, sandbars and tourist attractions. There are many day trips to the island. There are also many sea activities available at affordable prices.

Dhigurah Island is located within South Ari Atoll (Alif Daal), about 100 kilometers from the airport and the capital city of Male. Dhigurah Island is about 3 kilometers long and only 250 meters wide at its widest point.
Dhigurah Island is a fishing village with about 600 inhabitants engaged in fishing, carpentry and boat building. The island has two schools and a kindergarten, a hospital, some stores, souvenir stores and an information center, and has more than 30 dive sites and its own dive center. The village is located at the head of the island (about 500 meters) and the remaining 2.5 km is equatorial forest. Both sides of the island are sandy beaches of almost the same length.
South Ari Atoll is famous for its beautiful underwater world. It is one of the few places in the world where you can see large numbers of whale sharks (harmless to humans because they only eat plankton), rare sea turtles, giant rays (manta rays), schools of all kinds of fish and beautiful coral reefs.








Fulidhoo Island (pronounced “fully-do”) is in the Vaavu Atoll, just 57km (or just over an hour speedboat) from Male Airport.
At only 700m x 200m and with only 200 permanent residents Fulidhoo really is all about the local island vibes – sleepy and quiet but stunning in beauty.
In recent years, Fulidhoo has seen an inflow of tourists in search of its Maldivian, budget paradise, with an inexpensive accommodation, beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise waters and a rich marine life, all those components behind which people fly half the world to get real Maldives experience and say with confidence : "Liked everything!".
